Emerging Technologies and the Future

Emerging Technologies are predicted to change and improve many of our daily, fundamental tasks and interactions in the future years. These technologies will impact how we work, travel, transact and communicate with each other.

The purpose of this interactive 1 hour lesson is to introduce students to some of the emerging technologies that are impacting and shaping the future. It highlights and incorporates real world examples of Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, and Blockchain and briefly covers career and future study opportunities.  

The lesson is accessible for all levels. A laptop is provided to each student to navigate the program. However, each student will need an email address to sign-up for access and confirm their log-in email via webmail on arrival.

Every student, who actively participates and successfully completes, will receive a Certificate of Completion.
